New Moon in VIRGO ~ Courtesy of Skybear Astrology
By Larry Williamson
New Moons are times of new beginnings, planting new seeds and setting intentions. The New Moon in Virgo will focus on issues related with health, healing, service and preparation. This New Moon makes a close conjunction to Saturn in Virgo. It’s never too late to pay homage to the virgin goddesses.
The woman who is virgin, one-in-herself, does what she does, not because of any desire to please, to be liked or approved, to catch his interest or love, but because what she does is true. She is what she is, because that is what she is. Virginity is a process of being true to oneself, and if one has not been true than virginity is renewable. It’s never too late to become a virgin!
Woman can renew their virginity, intactness and integrity through the rites of Aphrodite, where she would annually renew her virginity by bathing, cleansing and purifying herself by the sea. The value placed upon virginity is a man’s idea, and that’s how men and the patriarchy controlled woman. As if virginity was a wonderful thing in the first place.
The degree for the New Moon from Zodiacal Symbology reads: An antique temple of the muses built on a rock, over which flows an enchanting fall of clear sparking water. Denotes one who would seek the ideal in all things, even amidst war and destruction. One of a strange, happy, though wise philosophy of thought. It is a symbol of cultivation.
This is the best New Moon to take greater responsibility for our health physically, emotionally and spiritually. Its time to get serious about dietary changes, exercise routines and addressing medical issues we’ve been either denying, or putting off. Saturn is about commitment and Virgo represents the body. This is the right time to deal with our “inner critic” and attachment to perfectionism. There’s an indigenous saying that goes, is the good, true and beautiful in my nature as strong as the whispers of my demons and monsters? We must answer yes to that on a daily basis.
This New Moon will energize the third of five oppositions on September 15th between Saturn and Uranus. These cycles often coincide to political, social and economic changes. The last opposition cycle was in the mid-1960s when the Civil rights movement, Vietnam War, Anti-War protests and the emergence of the Hippie revolution took center stage. Those with late degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) will feel it most intensely. Mercury, the ruler of Virgo squares Pluto on the 17th, suggesting that knowledge is power! Small issues can take on great importance. Your mind can probe beneath the surface. Secrets will be revealed.

Mercury appears retrograde 3 times a year for approximately 3 weeks at a time. Here’s the kicker ~ I attach a 3 week shadow on each side making it a 9 week period altogether.
Not all of Mercury retrograde is negative, though. Yes, cell phones and computers can get glitchy; the light can come on in your car and you take it to the mechanic and nothing is wrong with it. ( I always tell people, unless it’s the break light or something important, wait until after the retrograde to get it checked because it just might fix itself!) Anything with communication and transportation can go haywire and if you’re a Gemini or a Virgo, ruled by Mercury, it can be even more frustrating.
You must really be careful of what you say and how you say it. Words can be misconstrued. It’s also a bad time to start anything new or sign important contracts or documents. The exception can be someone who is born with Mercury retrograde~ it does not affect them as much. So what can possibly be positive? Lots! Mercury retrograde is an excellent time to contact or hear from people from your past! Rather than solicit new clients, return to your sphere of influence. Reach out to someone you need to REconcile with. It’s an awesome time to REconnect. Go back and FINISH old projects so when the retrograde period is over you can begin new endeavors with a clean slate. It’s not the best time to get married but how about REmarried? Rather than plan a trip to some place new, why not REvisit a favorite destination? Different people have different opinions on traveling while Mercury is retrograde. If it can be avoided, it probably should. Some plans may have to be REscheduled. It’s almost impossible to hook up with new people but an excellent time to get together with old friends or plan a REunion! Just about anything you can put “RE” in front of works. Refurbish, redo, reconnect etc. The one exception can be remodeling. If it’s your first time doing it and contracts are involved, try and wait until after. Things will have to be REdone!
Don’t go to a new agency, partner, or job if you can help it. Try to connect new endeavors with the past if that makes sense. Also, if you’ve had a dilemma you may now suddenly have an epiphany. If you’ve been waiting for something or someone to arrive it could happen now!
We all have the ability to focus on the positive and make the most of trying situations. Use your energy wisely and constructively. Rather than branching out in new directions, go down a tried and true path. Be patient and really cautious with the words you choose and use. Drive extra carefully. Take time to REview. Think before you take action as your mind (Mercury) could be playing tricks on you! Stay as focused as possible and don’t let it run your life. Did Mercury retrograde bother you BEFORE you knew about it? We must deal with the past before we head into the future!

SEPTEMBER ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS ~ Featuring Virgo
By Kerry Fezza 2009
Some planetary notes this month:
Mercury goes Retrograde on the 6th but truthfully it’s already in effect until October 14th. I will resurrect my old blog next week on MRx to help remind everyone of the positive uses of that energy too!
Pluto, the intense little planet ruling nuclear energy, goes direct on September 11th. Another good reason to pay attention on that day!
Saturn and Uranus will face off again on the 15th. Look for matters pertaining to old vs new, conservatism vs socialism, conventional vs unconventional etc. This same opposition took place in the mid 1960’s in exactly the same signs (only the planets were reversed)!
The month of September should be interesting to say the least!! And on a personal note….
If you know your Rising/Ascendant sign and/or your Moon sign, read those forecasts too. Especially refer to your Rising sign for relationship issues.
Peace and Prosperity!
VIRGO
Happy New Year to the most meticulous, vital, and analytical sign of the Zodiac! As hard working individuals you have really been through a lot these past several years.
Last year’s focus was primarily on self improvement. You should be feeling a strong sense of accomplishment as things finally start to manifest and your goals are achieved. Patience and persistence pay off!
As you build your own self worth, it will reflect in the people and circumstances you attract to you. This may explain why relationships, romantic and platonic, remain unpredictable and reminiscent of the past. You will be forced to repeat the circumstance until you learn the lesson. It’s time to break old habits and not feel guilty about it. You have worked hard to better yourself but you can’t change others behavior ~ only set an example.
Romance is super passionate and fated. Again, remember not to surrender your power. Take control of how you want to be loved.
Because Mercury Retrogrades around your birthday, expect a lot of your past to crop up this year. Not just old circumstances, but old friends, old lovers, old ideas etc. It’s a great year to resurrect an old project left unfinished. Perhaps your writers block will be lifted? Sometimes we have to go back to the past in order to navigate the future. Embrace the nostalgia but keep it in perspective!
Look for a breather and a big weight lifted off your shoulders as Saturn leaves your sign at the end of October. It will dip back into Virgo in 2010 giving you an added opportunity to finish whatever was left undone. It could also reinforce some cold, hard reality. Rise to the challenge with your new found strength!

New Moons are times of new beginnings, planting seeds and setting intentions. Leo has rulership over the heart, spine and blood. This New Moon awakens our spirit and courage to listen to our hearts. The word ‘courage’ comes from the Latin word for the heart, Cor, which literally means ‘to take heart’. In the words of mythologist Joseph Campbell “Follow your Bliss” or heart. Leo is associated with creativity, self-expression, love and romance. Like all fire signs Leo enjoys having lots of fun, laughter and a good time.
Since Leo is ruled by the Sun they need to shine, to show off and most of all they need to feel special. This is one of the best New Moons to look for love and romance. However, it’s important that you set intentions to which you love and how you want to be loved? We need to bless those who challenge us to love more fully, for they are great teachers who show us when we are open hearted or close hearted. The Sufi’s tell us the greatest remorse we can ever experience is love unexpressed. When you keep your heart locked, closed, over protected, you can never free yourself from the cocoon and enjoy the freedom of the butterfly.
My favorite Solar myths for the Leo archetype are the Arthurian Grail legends, which are essentially stories of wounding and healing. The story of Parsifal and the wounded king who is wounded in the groin (this is before viagra) and the kingdom becomes barren and nothing is allowed to grow. It’s not until Parsifal (inner fool) goes on a quest to discover a magical vessel of healing and plenty- the Grail. The king is not a king, who has been injured and recovering, he is the ‘wounded king”. This is an identity of loss and disempowerment.
The healing finally takes place through the asking of a question, which sets into motion not only the healing of the king, but also the land. The quest for the grail is really about a quest for healing, renewal and recovery. In the words of the coyote trickster astrologer Caroline Casey, at the heart of all great cultures is the heroic task to restore the healing waters of life. Remember, that a myth is something that never happened, but is always happening!
This New Moon illuminates the opposition to the triple conjunction between Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius. We are called on to open our hearts to serve others rather than just ourselves through cooperative, community and collective participation. To exercise our personal will (Leo) for the good of others and the world (Aquarius). This New Moon is the fourth of five ‘Crisis Moons’ this year, when the Moon is at its (perigee) closest to the earth. The degree for this New Moon from Zodiacal Symbology reads: A stream of oil falling from mid-air upon the troubled waters beneath. Denotes one with a peculiar magnetic aura enables him to bring quarreling units to a peaceful union. It is a symbol of Conciliation.

Yet another Eclipse! Because I’ve written so much about Eclipses this summer I thought I would include this one with the horoscopes. Please refer to my previous blogs for more info.
This Eclipse is the final one in the series affecting the 4 signs Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio. These signs are wrapping up a 2 year cycle that should feel complete around November.
Because this Eclipse occurs in the progressive sign of Aquarius, we can use alternative approaches to old problems and dilemmas. Thinking outside the box, fits good here! Remain open minded and keep your friends close for there is strength in the collective conscience.
LEO
Happy Birthday to the most gregarious, generous, and extravagant sign of the Zodiac!
You’ve been through a lot these past couple of years while fate has intervened to teach you some life lessons. It was an important time for relationships of all kinds and there were probably major domestic adjustments too. Rest assured, this year you’ll be picking up the pieces and putting them into place.
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse this month continues to highlight your partnership sector. Expect some changes here, especially if your partner is a female. This Eclipse highlights the women in your life.
Significant others are learning a lot right now either literally or figuratively. Their growth and expansion is tied to their past and is part of their healing process. Give them the space, freedom, and independence that you desire. Leo’s have big shoulders and you’ll know when to let them cry on you!
Eclipses can also affect ones health and Leo’s really need to pay special attention to their physical bodies! As stated last month your most vulnerable areas are the heart, spine, skin, bones, knees, and teeth. Be as good to yourself as you are to everyone else! And don’t let your ego get in the way of Doctors visits when needed!
Financially you’re still feeling the pinch of the economy and perhaps your own careless decisions. You’ll start to feel the weight lift in November. In the meantime be prepared for the unexpected especially where joint finances or investments are concerned! This month is good for balancing the checkbook and any negotiations regarding your personal funds. But don’t discuss with or lend money to pushy friends, as arguments could result.
This month favors income generated behind the scenes. There is major transformation around your work area ~ perhaps the death of an old job freeing you up for a better opportunity? Watch out for power struggles and confrontations. It’s a new year for you ~ decide if you should move on…
Romance is down played this month or kept secret. While it’s your time to enjoy the spotlight, there is also a part of you that requires privacy. Take some time for introspection and share your love for others with yourself!

New Moons are times of new beginnings. They’re excellent for putting your intentions out there to the Universe. This New Moon, in the sign of CANCER ~ Family, domestic issues, the home, and real estate concerns ~ is super charged with powerful energy!! So get out your pens and make the manifestation List of your dreams!!
The Solar Eclipse tonight in Cancer follows a new series of Eclipses in the the signs of CANCER & CAPRICORN and will also affect ARIES & LIBRA (The Cardinal Signs). Remember, if your Moon or Ascendant/Rising Sign is one of the above, you will experience these vibrations too! Eclipse energy is felt for a approximately 2 years. The power of this series started back in April.
Eclipses can bring many things but most of all they necessitate change! Usually that change occurs around the residence (moving), relationships, and bringing hidden things into the light. If you’re one of the above 4 signs, you’re beginning anew in one or all of these areas. The more willing you are to make alterations where necessary, the less adversity you’ll experience, and the more success you will have with your new endeavors!!
For a more detailed look at Eclipses, re-read my previous article on the Full Moon Eclipse in Capricorn.
Don’t forget to think big and utilize this energy to your advantage!!

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE, JULY 7, 2009 (15 Degrees CAPRICORN) ~ Relationships! Resident Changes! Death of the old SELF, old ways, old habits! Hidden things coming to light!
Full Moons are a time of culmination, when things come to a head or come to fruition. Full Moons occur when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. This full Moon in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn ~ hardships, delays, frugality ~ in the same sign as Retrograde Pluto ~ death, resurrection, transformation ~ is super charged as an Eclipse! Kick that energy up a couple notches!!
The Lunar Eclipse tonight and the Solar Eclipse in Cancer on the 21st ushers in a new series in the signs of CANCER & CAPRICORN. They will also be affecting ARIES & LIBRA (The Cardinal Signs). Remember, if your Moon or Ascendant/Rising Sign is one of the above, you will experience these vibrations too! Eclipse energy is felt for a approximately 2 years. The power of this series started back in April.
Because this Eclipse occurs in the same sign as Pluto, although theyre not that close, I think explains the rash of celebrity deaths. Only because theyre the ones we hear about. People may have pets or loved ones who have passed on recently too. It has a lot to do with transitioning to the next level and may be connected to the ascension process. Check out Karen Bishops site Whats Up On Planet Earth.
Eclipses themselves can be associated with death. Not just the physical but the complete transformation of self. This is a year of change for everyone worldwide. We must adjust our lives where we feel the need or the Universe will do it for us. Much better to initiate your own makeover!! Letting go of outdated ways, thinking, and doing is not an easy process. At least if you make the effort its showing the Universe your trying and making forward progress, even if its baby steps! You may want to start with cleaning out closets or a garage ~ great symbolism and a good use of this energy!
Eclipses also play a large part in Relationships. They can definitely bring about the death of a long term partnership thats way past its expiration date OR they can bring someone significant into your life!! If youve been waiting for someone special or something serious, an Eclipse affecting your Sign can really bring things to you ~ Be careful what & how you wish for it! Be really clear on your intent!
Another affect Eclipses have on the above mentioned signs is MOVING or important changes around the residence. My husband & I, both Aries, finally purchased a home in April after searching for many months. (Once the Eclipse energy started working on our sign, our offer was accepted after several rejections on prior properties.) Now as the Eclipse itself hits, were working very hard on our new home!

July is a big month with lots of planetary activity!! Uranus turns retrograde on the 1st ~ Expect the unexpected for that week at least! Surprises emanating from the past are in store until the end of the year.
There will also be two Eclipses this month. A Lunar Eclipse on July 7th, and a Solar Eclipse on July 21st. The signs most affected by these will be Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra. If your Moon or Ascendant is any of those signs you can expect changes this summer two. It may be time to transform your love life or your residence.
Change is all around us. We need to embrace it in order to grow. These are progressive times!
CANCER
Happy Birthday to the most sensitive, familial, and nurturing sign of the Zodiac! Hang on tight for a wild ride this year!! You’re entering into a 2 year cycle of fate. A lot of which will have to do with working out past karma. Be prepared for surprises and be willing to adjust accordingly.
Since January, there’s been major transformation around partnerships and starting next month destiny will smile on all relationships. You can expect a lot of passion!! How that works itself out is up to you! You’re drawing in people who are a lot more intense and persuasive. Don’t surrender your personal power. Remember what you attract and how you respond, is a direct reflection of yourself. If you feel a loss of control in close personal situations, pull back and reflect on yourself. You can’t alter others behavior but you can modify how you react. The next few years will compel you to make dramatic alterations within yourself. Circumstances will be very personal.
The 1st half of your year may find you reflecting on your Spirituality. Looking for higher guidance can really broaden your horizons both physically and metaphorically. It may also provide some intuitive, inspirational guidance to help you through your current financial predicament. Again, focus on your individual needs and let your partners manage their own affairs. Don’t take on anyone’s drama!
Joint finances, investments, and shared resources can pick up as early as mid October. Pay attention to all money details the last half of July. Not a bad time to ask for a raise either!
You may also have unexpected opportunities to return to school, revisit a distant location, and revamp legal or publishing endeavors. An unexpected, long distance message might lead to an inheritance.
Communication itself is slow. Choose your words carefully and sparingly, especially where family is concerned. Neighbors or community members might pose a challenge to you this year. So could internet connections. Tried and true, slow and sure is the best way to handle all of the above. Fate is working this sector too until the end of 2009.

By Larry Williamson ~ Skybear Astrology
New Moons are times of new beginnings, planting new seeds and of setting intentions. We are all familiar with the sign Cancer associated with the crab. However, my premise is that many of the attributes and meaning of the signs come from smaller star groups that surround the major constellations of the zodiac. Therefore, the meaning for the sign Cancer actually derives from the bear. Directly below the constellation of the crab is the constellation Ursa Major, the Great Bear.
The qualities and principles associated with Cancer such as nurturing, mothering and care taking comes from characteristics of the bear rather than the crab? Consider how the bear is about protection, nesting, maternal and loves food. Once again, the point I want to drive home is to understand that the meaning of the signs in the zodiac are influenced by other star groups and constellations near the region of the major constellations of the zodiac.
This New Moon is the second “Crisis Moon” of 2009 and the most powerful occurring so close to the Summer Solstice. The Crisis Moon is when the Moon is near its perigee (closest to earth) emotional and domestic issues become more intensified especially with the Moon in it’s own sign, Cancer. It’s not uncommon for those with the sign Cancer, the Moon, or 4th house strongly activated in their charts to be susceptible to Lunar Burnout! This is a form of a breakdown that happens when you’re called on to nurture others too much, for too long and you’re not doing enough to nurture and care for yourself. People who suppress or refuse to honor their own essential core needs, and subordinate their needs for the needs of others, are those who wind up emotionally burned out (Moon). Cancer’s never know when to cut the cord and stop trying to nurture the world.
Cancer is a sign related to emotional memory. Cancer’s often think about the hurt or wounds of the past, rather than focusing on the joy of recovery. Holding on and clinging to the past is Cancer’s way of staying stuck in the womb, of self-preservation. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon reads: A MAN ON A MAGIC CARPET HOVERING OVER A LARGE AREA OF LAND. Keynote: The ability to expand one’s consciousness by stabilizing one’s point of view at a higher level.
This is one of the best New Moon’s to work on home improvements or repairs. We can simply enhance our home life by spending quality time with family members and those we love. This is a favorable time to let go of old defensive mechanisms that could be detrimental to your emotional well-being and relationships with others. Learn to let go of old attachments and codependency that no longer serve you. Cancer is the sign of the home and family and unless you have a home that heals your spirit you will never heal!

SUMMER SOLSTICE, June 20/21, 2009
By Kerry Fezza
Astrologers note: I use a solar chart beginning with 0 degrees of the Sun Sign on the Ascendant. I then use equal house cusps, following with the next sign ~ 2nd House 0 Leo and so forth.
I like to look at mundane events every three months, on the solstices and equinoxes to gage what our nation can potentially experience during that time. However, you can also apply the info on a personal level.
When we study astrology we are looking at how the different planets aspect each other and this chart has some uncanny aspects that are really tight by degree.
The Sun at 0 degrees Cancer, in direct opposition to retrograde Pluto, signifies a nation in ongoing crisis. In the Vernal Equinox chart Pluto was in the 10th house, still having us appear strong and powerful in the world’s eyes. Now that Chiron is in the solar 10th, and Pluto is on the 7th house cusp, we are emerging as openly wounded making us vulnerable to attack from others who feel more powerful. Pluto oppositions can also bring hidden things into the light. We could be exposed from past deceptions and we may uncover a powerful plot against us.
The Sun-Pluto opposition forms an out of sign T-square to Uranus in Pisces in the 9th. Our foreign counter parts are in a period of instability too, especially in regards to religion/Spirituality, legal, educational, and oil/gas resources. The chart’s ruler the Moon, conjunct Mercury in the 12th, reminds us that any hidden agendas we might have can wind up hurting us and them. We need to compromise and grow Spiritually to keep up with others. A more open minded approach suggests possible financial aid with gas/oil supplies as evidenced with the exact conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron in the 8th in Aquarius in an out of sign trine to the Sun and sextile to Pluto. Because all three points are retrograde and in a tight funky aspect to Uranus, we must handle all foreign relations delicately.
The same funky aspect exists between the Sun/Pluto opposition and the North and South nodes. Both nodes straddle our financial sectors making tweaking the economy our #1 priority. We are way out of our comfort zone and will need to think of new and different ways to boost our failing financial system.
The most positive configuration falls in our house of allies. We can derive much joy, pleasure, and perhaps economic aide from the Venus/Mars conjunction in the 11th ruled by Taurus. The exact conjunction exactly trines Saturn in Virgo in the 3rd. If we communicate honestly and effectively and work hard alongside our friends, we can make positive steps forward and benefit in the long term.
Factor in the USA (7 degrees) Gemini Rising Chart for a few notables! All of a sudden S.S. 12th house Moon conjunct Mercury leaps into prominence! They fall on the USA ascendant and USA Uranus exactly! Expect the unexpected as we’re in for some big surprises! May be even about our new President??
Hidden things are bound to come to light any day now as the summer is riddled with eclipses. These will mainly affect our financial sectors in both the Summer Solstice and USA charts. I’ll be writing a separate blog next month that will give more details on the eclipses and what to expect!
USA Mars falls in S.S. 12th reinforcing the notion of hidden enemies and secret aggression ~ whether it comes from internal or external forces. It’s wide square to S.S. Uranus in the 9th, and wide trine to the Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron/USA Moon (18 Aquarius) stellium in S.S. 8th, strengthens the notion of unexpected foreign aggression but offers we might be able to buy our way out or perhaps strike a trade for services??
USA Mars also squares S.S. Saturn in the 3rd, suggesting a communication breakdown or a delay in tactics. S.S. Saturn is applying to a conjunction of USA Neptune, both in Virgo. Again we must be very clear in what we say and how we say it. (This will be even more important in the Autumnal Equinox chart.) Any deceptions we generate can come back to bite us in the butt. These 2 planets hooking up in the 3rd, also explains the media’s saturation with the ‘Go Green’ movement. Saturn trine the Venus/Mars conjunction in the S.S. 11th house, offers us the opportunity to form important groups and follow other countries’ examples, making us more popular in the global community.
The USA Cancer stellium falls in both charts 1st house conjunct S.S. Sun and opposing S.S. Pluto. The Venus/Jupiter conjunction supports the notion of self love and optimism suggesting we can fight outward aggression through our strength of Unity. We’re approaching our Solar Return (birthday) in a couple of weeks also, signifying new beginnings. A positive approach will certainly benefit us in these trying times. Let us not be our own worst enemy, but hold our heads high, work on our own growth, especially Spiritual, and embrace the change that will ultimately lead us to our higher purpose!

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS! ~ Party, Party, Party!
Full Moons are when things come to a head or come to fruition. Either way it’s usually lively! And what could be more lively than a Full Moon in Sagittarius!?
Sagittarius rules higher education, Religion, Law, Philosophy, and distant people, places, and things. It is a fun, outgoing, and expansive sign.
Jupiter is Sagittarius’ ruling planet and currently resides in Aquarius ~ sign of the unusual, unconventional, higher minded, metaphysical, humanitarian, and inventive spirit! Aquarius is all about friendships and groups.
Given the two influences and the intensity of a Full Moon, one would expect a very social weekend. You could be home cramming for finals but don’t be surprised if you’re interrupted by boisterous friends!
There will probably be a lot of big year end parties on college campuses. There could also be many Spiritual gatherings or church picnics this weekend. Family reunions are favored too. It’s a good time be active in your community and network, network, network. A lot of socializing will probably be done over cocktails. Sag’s love their wine!
Sagittarians are usually very sports minded so there may be many sporting events this weekend (most likely followed by a big victory party!)
Either way, this weekend should be a lot of fun. The energy will be high and lively! All physical activities are favored and there will be a lot of stimulating conversation with the Sun in quick, witty Gemini!
Embrace this time to let loose and have a good time. Branch outside of your comfort zone and try new things. Sagittarius does it big and bold!!

JUNE ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS ~ Featuring Gemini!
By Kerry Fezza 2009
Neptune has turned retrograde and Jupiter will too on the 15th. It’s an excellent time to ‘re’invest in your Spirituality or any artistic/creative endeavors. Success may take a little longer in coming but keep at it. This energy will be most intense for Pisces and Sagittarians.
The Summer Solstice is on the 20/21st. I’ll be preparing a separate blog on that.
Just a reminder, if you know your Rising & Moon sign, read those too. Especially refer to your Rising sign for relationship updates.
GEMINI
Happy Birthday to the most social, multi-sided, and mercurial sign of the Zodiac!
Never one to shy away from change, this year continues to have many surprises in the career department. However, you should find yourself more grounded and stable in your home environment. There still exists a push/pull dynamic between the two.
As you develop your personal foundation, be it a new house or family situation, or maybe just committing to a lease or mortgage, you will find the inner strength and stability to make serious changes in your profession. Ever more enlightened, you desire to work independently without the hassles of a regular schedule. You may also be embracing new and different thought ideas that fall outside the mainstream. You’ll not only want to incorporate your new wisdom into your livelihood, you’ll want to share it with the public as well!
This is an excellent year to advance your education, revisit your Spirituality, travel abroad, or study the laws of the Universe. Continue to be open-minded and embrace all that is new and different. Humanitarian efforts will be well rewarded.
Your personal finances are highlighted towards the end of June. Joint resources are in a period of major overhaul for a long time to come, but expect some forward progress to begin in August. You’ll need to pay attention to your money and spending habits this year.
You’re passionate about anything shared, especially when it comes to partnerships. Learn from your past and you may want to keep your romantic escapades on the ‘down low’.
Communication, networking, “buzzing” around and socializing are highly favored the last half of June and this is your month to shine!
This is a year to establish YOUR SELF so make the most of all opportunities!
ARIES

New Moon in Gemini ~ May 24, 2009
New Moons are times of planting new seeds, new beginnings, and setting intentions. The Moon is what nurtures and feeds us. The New Moon in Gemini nourishes us through mental curiosity, reading, writing, learning new information, and making connections. Mercury/Hermes ruler of Gemini is the messenger of the gods, and was the only god to travel between two worlds. He was also the protector of travelers and athletes. Gemini’s often feel like they travel between two worlds.
Mercury retrograde in Taurus helps to calm the mind from incessant chatter and frivolous gossip. Mercury moves forward (direct) on the 30th and re-enters Gemini on June 14th. Mercury/Hermes always carries a healing rod, the caduceus that reminds us of the healing and wounding powers of our words. Chose what you wish to communicate consciously and don’t become mired in toxic verbal sparring or abuse towards others.
The triple conjunction between Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius reflect the lines of communication are open to new truths, dreams and generous healing spirit. The last triple conjunction between these bodies was back in 1945 in Libra. Social change, reform, equal rights, and justice for all echo today the Aquarian ideal of cooperation, altruistic and humanitarian values. The expansive influence of Jupiter with Chiron can become a powerful aide to the healing process, while Neptune yearns for the ideal social setting by participating in groups, community and collective cooperation.
The Sabian symbol for the triple conjunction at 26 degrees 26 minutes of Aquarius reads: AN ANCIENT POTTERY BOWL FILLED WITH FRESH VIOLETS. The importance of traditional skills and artistic values deeply rooted in instinctive feelings. Violets have often been a symbol of modesty and humility. What I find interesting is this conjunction is conjunct Neptune’s discovery degree at 26 degrees of Aquarius! Neptune was first discovered on September 23, 1846 as America was undergoing radical social changes. The Mormons arrived in Salt Lake City, waves of Irish immigrants came to this country, the poets Thoreau, Emerson and Whitman came into prominence, and the Mexican War broke out. Come one full Neptune return cycle later and we have trouble with immigration and the Mexican border. Transiting Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune all conjunct the Moon in the Sibily chart (USA) and will have a dramatic effect on the American psyche and collective mood of the country. In the words of Richard Bach from his book “Illusions” Rarely do members of one’s true family share the same roof! Indeed, sometimes our ‘true family’ is our friends, group, tribal or collective family.
Saturn goes direct in motion on May 16th. We can now move forward with our projects and plans that have been on the back burner. Good time to build bridges so that inner plans find ways for outer expression. If you had been feeling stuck in a rut since February you can gain new traction now and plow ahead with authority.

The exception can be someone who is born with Mercury retrograde ~ it does not affect them as much.

Mercury goes retrograde from the 6th - 30th but if you include the ‘shadow’ periods like I do we’re already in it. I will resurrect my Blog on Mercury Retrograde next week so you can see what it means to you.
Just a reminder, if you know your Rising & Moon sign, read those too. Especially refer to your Rising sign for relationship updates.
TAURUS
Happy Birthday to the most patient, persistent, and poised sign of the Zodiac!
This year sees you destined for high profile success. You have already reaped some of your rewards but things can really peak over the next few months! You are very much in the public eye, especially if you’re involved in Education, Law, Publishing, Foreign Affairs, the Arts, or Spirituality.
You now have the opportunity to transform these areas. As a result you could stir up some jealousy, mainly from hidden enemies who are intimidated by your new found power. Hold on to your hard earned position and relish in your accomplishments!
One of your challenges this year, and particularly this month, is to reconnect with yourself and feel you are worthy of a starring role! You are not done with all you can achieve but take time to enjoy what you’ve manifested through your own hard work and effort!
Don’t let loved ones discourage you from enjoying the spot light. At the same time, you’ll have to work at maintaining family obligations. Your inner conflict will be in finding the balance between work and home.
Because you are geared towards that which gives the most pleasure, your other push/pull dynamic lies between lovers, children, and play time versus the unpredictable nature of your friends. Interesting people continue to inspire you as they pop in and out of your life!
Romance is more stable and you can make forward progress after the 15th. Due to the fated nature of your love life at this time, affection may be a little more subdued. Your much younger or older lover may be looking to you for guidance or, alternatively, may be your anchor or stability now. Passion takes place behind the scenes. And secret affairs can really rock your world!
Whatever happens Taurus, this will be a year to remember!!
ARIES
Love, romance, passion, beauty, and self-reliance are all yours this month! Make the most of opportunities!
There’s a strong focus on finances which will need review. Mid month sees work endeavors finally get off the ground as you continue to revamp your career.
You’re extremely fortunate in group settings and through friends and co-workers. Fate has you aligning with those who share your spiritual and artistic ideals as your own enlightenment unfolds.
You’re wrapping up issues with lovers and children and can learn from the past.
Expect some surprises from behind the scenes.
GEMINI
Pay attention to your intuition this month and dreams that have connections to the past.
Friendship and social activities abound and one friend could become a lover. Network it!
There is still a battle between your career and home life. While your roots are strong, and become more secure mid month, your need for freedom and independence plays out on the job.
Extended family, neighbors, and on-line contacts are still touchy.
Vehicles may continue to need maintenance.
You can expect luck with long distance, educational, legal, spiritual, or artistic endeavors.

New Moon in Taurus, April 24, 2009
New Moons are times of new beginnings, planting new seeds and setting of intentions. This New Moon represents our connection with Mother Earth. This Month with the Sun, Moon, Mercury all in Taurus along with Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn (earth signs) sets off the emergency alarm for “green consciousness”. Since Taurus is one of the oldest signs in the Zodiac it has a long affinity with the Earth, agriculture, land, nature and the environment.
The animal totem for Taurus is the Bull as the bull use to plow the fields to cultivate the land for the crops to grow. The glyph for Taurus symbolizes the head of the bull, the crescent moon on top of the circle (spirit). However, from a much older tradition the glyph for Taurus represents the fallopian tubes and the womb. This reaffirms Taurus as a sign associated with fertility and abundance.
This New Moon asks us to reflect on what gives us pleasure and what makes us feel rich or content. Anything that enchants and indulges the senses is a source of pleasure to Taurus. In fact, Taureans are never happier than when putting physical form into beauty. With Venus (creativity) as ruler of Taurus we find many in the creative arts such as pottery, sculpture, interior design or music. Many of these people find a deep sense of relaxation in just “doing”. Taurus rules not only our relationship with nature, but also with the physical body. Taurus is the most physical of all the signs and craves the need to touch, hold, hug and feel, including finding pleasure with your own body.
Taurus is a sign related to money and material resources. The reason why Taurus is associated with money and wealth is in ancient times the more cattle (bulls) you owned was a measure of your wealth. This is one of the best New Moons to focus on personal finances and material resources. Set financial goals that are practical and down to earth. Commit yourself to a budget and long term financial planning. Saturn in Virgo can help to repair our financial spending habits with discipline and responsibility. You may surprise yourself what can be generated by “Strategic plans” and become more conscious about frivolous spending.
Pluto made its station on April 4, 2009 and we have witnessed a dramatic increase in violent acts and mass murders. Pluto stations exude tremendous power and eruption. The first World Trade Center bombing in 1993 and the Oklahoma City bombing took place during a Pluto station. The horrific news from Binghamton New York where a crazed gunman senselessly killed 13 people. In Pittsburgh a young budding white supremacist shoots and kills 3 policemen because he feared Obama was going to take his guns away. Pluto does rule paranoia! The following day in Tacoma, Washington a man kills his five children then himself because his wife was going to leave him for another man. Eruptions from the underworld indeed!

Full Moons are a time of culmination ~ when things come to a head or come to fruition. Full Moons occur when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. This full Moon is in the sign of Libra ruled by the planet Venus ~ femininity, love, romance, attraction, affection, and companionship. It falls opposite the Sun in Aries ruled by Mars ~ masculinity, passion, aggression, independence, and the self.
Relationships are all about compromise. The individual desires (Aries) versus that of the partner(ship) (Libra). When we get close to someone special and begin a relationship, we have to be careful not to lose ourselves in the union. This is especially true for women represented by Venus. A perfect metaphor is when women take their husbands sir name after marriage and automatically assume their spouses ‘identity.’ Mars, embracing the principal of masculinity and independence, is typical of men who often have trouble with commitment. Thus, a full Moon in Libra reinforces this traditional archetype. This is further magnified by the yin or feminine attitude of the Moon and the yang or masculine law of the Sun.
Also emphasized is the idea that all partnerships are a direct reflection of the self. We attract what we are. If you are struggling in close relationships and feel that you’re not attracting a suitable partner (Libra), you might first want to look at yourself and your individual needs (Aries). This is in no way meant to imply that you should take on someone-else’s issues or dysfunction. However, you may want to ask yourself:
~ Do I like to create or attract drama?
~ Do I need to play the victim in order to get attention?
~ Am I a natural nurturer/caregiver that desires to ‘save’ or ‘fix’ others out of innate compassion? This can be true of creative, artistic, spiritual types.
The trick is to define what message you are sending out because it’s exactly what you’ll attract. Once you honestly recognize your own behavior (Aries) you can effectively cultivate better relationships (Libra).
Because this full Moon is ruled by Venus which is in retrograde motion (moving backwards) now, the emphasis is on redoing or reviewing. If you are looking to reconnect with an old lover, rebuild a relationship, or rekindle a romance, now would be the time to reach out. Or you may want to turn inward and reflect. This is a perfect opportunity for retrospection and releasing the past. You can rebuild your self-esteem, restore your confidence, and replenish your soul. These last three concepts embody both Mars &Venus ~ Self Love. Then you’ll be poised to attract your ideal partner!
New Moons and Full Moons are excellent days to make a ‘Wish List’. Right down very specifically all the qualities you would like to manifest in a relationship and all the qualities you desire in a perfect mate. Take a look and see where they match up. Then you’ll have your blue print for the ultimate relationship!

APRIL’S ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS ~ Featuring Aries
By Kerry Fezza 2009Venus returns to direct motion on April 17th. Due to the ‘shadow’ period I still include the retrograde influence ~ meaning where love and money are concerned, there’s still ties to the past or past efforts. It’s still an excellent time to re-connect!!
ARIES
Happy Birthday to the most energetic, aggressive, and enthusiastic sign of the zodiac!
This year will see you reaching back and taking cues from your past as you manifest the future of your dreams!
The sign Aries represents the self and this year is very much about self-improvement and retrospection. You could be making big changes with your appearance and/or your health. Renewing that gym membership wouldn’t hurt. Neither would reviewing your eating habits. Your may have less than your usual amount of stamina, so yoga or martial arts might be preferred to vigorous work outs. A more divine approach to exercise can quell any anxiety or frustration and benefit your spiritual enlightenment. Pay attention to dreams and subconscious messages the 11th-24th.
Your friends will play a large role in your life this year and contribute to your destiny. You’ll want to align yourself with those who share the same beliefs. You may hook up with a new Spiritual group, or people who have an interest in law or publishing. Foreign or unusual company is very possible or those who share your love of global culture. Travel with groups or close friends is favored. You’re also lucky with professional contacts.
You could be resurrecting an old career and pursuing a lifelong desire. Whatever you do will take a lot of hard work and determination. You’ll want to feel passionate about and have control over your endeavors. You make your biggest contribution behind the scenes.
Things will begin to move forward the last half of the month. At that time your focus switches to personal finances and values ~ both of which could use a review!
2009 is geared towards success and accomplishment on a large scale. Increased popularity and recognition can create jealousy. Secret enemies can surprise you. Pay no mind ~ they’re just cowards who don’t share your drive and ambition. Own your own power! You’ll have more energy towards the end of April and feel like your usual competitive self.
Romance, children, and creative affairs are still stuck in the past. Karmic issues and past life connections continue to test your self-growth. You could definitely make a soul mate connection but it may be someone who has a lot of their own ‘stuff’ going on. Close personal relationships will be a direct reflection of yourself.
This can be a really spectacular year for you Aries if you take the time to put forth the effort ~
Be careful what you wish for you because you just might get what you want!

Astrologers note: I use a solar chart beginning with 0 degrees of the Sun Sign on the Ascendant. I then use equal house cusps, following with the next sign ~ 2nd House, 0 Taurus, and so forth.
So we have the calendar New Year, the Chinese New Year, and the official 0 degrees Aries point, shall we say, to start the Astrological New Year! I like to look at mundane events every three months on the solstices and equinoxes to gage what our nation can potentially experience during that time. However, you can also apply it on a personal level.
The Sun on solar Ascendant at 0 degrees Aries signifies a time to be selfish, to focus on OUR needs. Because it’s in a square to Pluto in the 10th we may still appear strong and powerful but on the verge of crumbling. We are in the middle of a huge transformation that comes out of tearing down and rebuilding. I predicted the down turn in the economy last fall with Pluto’s entry into Capricorn ~ the downfall of corporate America.
The Sun’s sextile to the North Node in Aquarius in the 11th suggests it’s time for us to follow the example of others and foster friendships with powerful allies. It’s trine to the South Node in Leo in the 5th, says maybe it’s time to pay more attention to our youth and their issues because they will one day be taking care of us!
Venus Retrograde in Aries in the 1st also reinforces the theme of self love and healing old wounds. We’re stealing ourselves away to work on our inner conflicts. Its same configuration to the nodes as mentioned above, supports the notion of healing our children and keeping them on track. We can set goals, hopes, and intentions perhaps by using our friends as role models. Venus’ sextile to 11th house Jupiter in Aquarius strengthens the idea of following other countries examples, especially those who have evolved out of similar circumstances particularly in regards to gas/oil shortages as evidenced by Neptune conjunct Chiron in the 11th also.
Our most public display of transformation can be seen in our economy. Venus is in a funky aspect to retrograde Saturn in Virgo. We are working harder for less money. We’re going backwards in order to move forwards. We’re downsizing and learning to live without as we review our spending habits.
Saturn in the 6th, trine the Moon in Capricorn in the 10th puts us on the world stage to illustrate how we can re-build, re-structure, and re-establish ~ our work force, our health care system, and our overall existence. While the Moon sextiles Mercury conjunct Uranus in the 12, Saturn opposes them. We may experience some unexpected help from sources that wish to remain anonymous. At the same time we can run into challenges from hidden enemies, and/or institutions such as hospitals and higher education facilities. And it should finally become apparent that mental health concerns need to be addressed as importantly as physical health issues. Mars in Pisces in the 12th reinforces these themes. However, it’s sextile to Pluto suggests it may force us to take action in unforeseen ways ?? We may also benefit from prominent, powerful, yet secret sources.
I’ve spoken many times on my radio show appearances this year about Jupiter in Aquarius and what a beautiful metaphor it is for our new government and the imminent changes up on us! It’s conjunction to Neptune and Chiron, in the same sign as the North Node lends hope for healing our fuel crisis. It looks like a large portion of our energy supply will continue to come from foreign sources.
While Aquarius can be reluctant to change, it’s still a very open minded, progressive sign that is prone to alternative choices. What impressed me most with the Vernal Equinox chart is this configuration in its natural 11th house, provides us with an awesome opportunity to emulate other nations who have come through difficult times. We can look to them to inspire us in new directions.
Since we tend to set an example for the world anyway, by joining forces and establishing mutual respect, we can grow and prosper as part of the global community!

Venus goes retrograde on the 6th but if you include the ‘shadow’ periods like I do, we’re already in it. Venus retrograde can bring a past love back into your life ~ significantly for Aries, Libra, Sagittarius, and Taurus. It can sometimes be a ‘reversal’ of fortune so watch your pennies! Like Mercury retrograde it has to do with re-doing, reviewing, and re-connecting. Be careful initiating contracts/documents that involve large sums of money or starting significant projects.
Just a reminder, if you know your Rising & Moon sign, read those too. Especially refer to your Rising sign for relationship updates.
PISCES
Happy Birthday to the most enigmatic, charismatic, artistic, and empathetic sign of the Zodiac!
You’re continuing in a long period of spiritual enlightenment or “psychic” awakening ~ A better alternative to denial which can foster addiction. Your subconscious is dealing with old hurts by opening up your psyche! Pay attention to visions as they will guide you to your destiny. Your natural intuition has the ability to expand beyond your deepest dreams this year.
You’re spreading your wings on all different levels and will want the freedom to explore new horizons. This may entail using unusual or unconventional means ~ thinking outside the box! Mid month sees you with more energy and stamina to test your limits.
Your desire for independence, mind, body, and soul, can pose a challenge for partners or those closest to you. Significant others are dealing with their own issues but in much more traditional and conservative ways. They are in a period of retrospection and self-growth. As a result, they may seem emotionally unavailable. It’s just two different mind sets and life style perspectives this year.
Friendships and group dynamics are also going through a major transformation. Your close ties are experiencing deep, profound changes too. Because you are naturally sensitive to everyone’s vibrations, be careful not to pick up others troubles or energies. Offer them your wisdom and insight. It’s a good time to remain detached.
Your own unique and changing ways can pose problems with employers who might see you as unpredictable or unreliable. You’ll also want to pay attention to your health.
Financially, things continue to be beneficial for the next 3 months if you watch your spending. A review is in order and you may look to complete past projects for further income. You’ll also be taking stock of your personal values and things that are valuable to you.
Everything you desire this year is within the realm of your imagination!

The way you presented was very cool with a different view. Like you said, astrology is very broad in itself, so I liked seeing different flavors, different ways etc. Your structure was great!! I would really enjoy going to any other classes you present. I never thought of you as an impatient Aries would be so good at teaching. But You were clear, precise and very complete! I think you would be a great teacher for an ongoing course study. You made a very hard subject very easy to understand!
Good Job! Thanks, Chris - Las Vegas

While New Moons usher in new beginnings, Full Moons bring events to ‘a head’ or to fruition!
This Full Moon in LEO packs the power of an Eclipse and then opposes the planet Neptune, modern ruler of Pisces ~ in a nut shell ~ Party, Party, Party! Leo is after all the ‘party’ sign, loving a good time. It’s also the sign associated with ROMANCE! How appropriate for the month and week of Valentine’s Day?!
In addition, LEO rules children and creativity. You may be feeling extra childlike and your artistic abilities could be in overdrive!
This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse ties in the planet Neptune, ruler of ethereal beauty, art, music, Spirituality, water, illusion, deception, and addiction. It enhances the romanticism of LEO but can exacerbate any pre-existing issues.
Neptune’s biggest concern is boundaries ~ where and when to ‘draw the line’. It is a master of disguise and prone to denial. Combine this energy with the afore mentioned Eclipse in LEO and you may run into problems with taking actions too far. When it comes to love, Neptune can be the classic case of rose colored glasses. A Full Moon Eclipse in LEO can take your affections to a whole new level! Just make sure you’re seeing the person and situation clearly.
Eclipses often bring hidden things to light, so be careful what you try to hide with the Neptune influence because you could be exposed at a later date.
This Eclipse is affecting the “fixed” signs of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio. If you have your Moon and/or Ascendant in any of these signs you’ll feel the energy too.
Eclipses necessitate change. For these 4 signs it’s make or break around relationships ~ either it’s time to commit or the fat lady is singing! Do you desire a soul-mate? Because an Eclipse (especially with Neptune) can bring one your way. But as they say….”Be careful what you wish for because you just might get what you want” lol! A move is in store or a big change around your residence. It’s best to remain as flexible as possible or you could experience health woes. Neptune makes illnesses hard to diagnose. So again, excess is not best.
Neptune is in the sign of Aquarius, ruler of the collective, friendships, hopes, and wishes. If you have been setting your goals and intentions, and playing within the boundary lines, you can expect rewards now, especially where others are concerned! If you’ve been naughty, you could get caught with your pants down.
This Eclipse, with Moon opposite Neptune, can create the most beautiful of illusions for us. The key to happiness is being able to distinguish between fantasy and reality! In the words of Aerosmith ~ DREAM ON!
Peace, Prosperity, Parties, Love, Lust, Light, and Valentines ~

HAPPY NEW YEAR ~ Again! Yes, now we’re off to a running start with the New Moon Solar Eclipse (Please see my separate blog for more info). January was a good month to catch up on all unfinished projects from 2008 and you should be ready to roll in February with your wish list or manifestation board.
Just a reminder, if you know your Rising & Moon sign, read those too. Especially refer to your Rising sign for relationship updates.
AQUARIUS
Happy birthday to the most enlightened, free-spirited, and intelligent sign of the zodiac! Your new year starts with a bang as the new moon solar eclipse occurred in Aquarius ~ now there’s some inspiration! You’re also lucky to have Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion, in your sign this year. You are beginning a 12 year cycle that could include furthering your education, enhancing your Spirituality, expanding overseas, or developing an interest in law or publishing. Whatever it is, don’t be afraid to make it happen!
This month you’ll have the extra energy, drive, and ambition to accomplish great things which will have an influence on the rest of your life. As you raise your own vibration you exalt those closest to you!
Partnerships always mirror your own self image. Important relationships could be made or broken depending on others ability to expand along with you or wallow in the past. You’re continuing to use your talents and creativity to heal past wounds and you’ll be attracting more dynamic souls who can keep up with you.
Be watchful for powerful enemies who lurk in the shadows. People who don’t have the motivation to succeed often sit around and stew in jealousy. You are more than able to outwit them!
Mid month as your intellect kicks into overdrive, your focus switches to income and values. This area remains unpredictable but due to your innovative ideas shouldn’t suffer too much. Your partner or sector of shared resources should offer some stability although past matters involving taxes, estates, inheritances, or investments needs recycling now. This can challenge your need for freedom and independence.
Your psyche is starting a long cycle of retrospection. Deep rooted concerns from the past can reveal profound insights. Issues need to be dealt with and purged. This should offset health problems.
You really shine this month in the areas of communication, transportation, family, and community. Buy a Taurus. Reach out and hug your neighbor. Put yourself out there and network, socialize, and be seen! This is your year!!
ARIES
Your popularity knows no bounds this month! Make the most of everything you have to offer and everything that’s offered to you. Your dreams are coming true!
Old issues with work, health, kids, and romance may persist but you’re looking and feeling good! You can inspire some and butt heads with others who are jealous of your good fortune.
Don’t let everyday concerns stifle your intuition. Revealing insights are best brought out through spiritual endeavors.
Take control of your career, and go for the gold!

New Moons (every 4 weeks) usher in new beginnings. Between the New & Full Moon is an excellent time to start things you want to manifest over the long run. This is an especially powerful New Moon as it is tied into a Solar Eclipse! It also has the added benefit of eclipsing Jupiter ~ planet of luck, abundance, enthusiasm, good will, philanthropy, spirituality, and optimism. This Eclipse is taking place in the ign of Aquarius which rules groups, friendships, humanity, hopes, goals, and wishes. It’s associated with the collective spirit and favors unconventionality, new age thinking, enlightenment, and sometimes the unusual or even the bizarre. Aquarius would rule Government and UFO’s, so combine that with expansive Jupiter and it will be interesting to see what happens!!!
Eclipses energize & influence a group of Signs. This Eclipse is affecting the “fixed” signs - Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio – just like the Eclipses in August last summer. If you have your Moon and/or Ascendant in any of these signs, you’ll feel the energy too. Look at what part of your chart these signs rule and expect activity in these areas.
Eclipses necessitate change, usually around the residence (moving) and relationships, and are known for bringing hidden things into the light. Unfortunately the fixed signs are the most resistant to change. That’s often why they get termed as stubborn. If you’re comfortable in your home, secure in your job, and are happy with the ‘status quo’ , I suggest you change something whether it’s your hair color, your drapes, or rearranging the furniture. If you are not adaptable the Universe will come in and create the change for you! This may feel like adversity. It’s better to remain as versatile as possible or you could even experience health setbacks. Jupiter in the configuration gives you a very positive outlook. (Doreen Virtue writes a good article about change in the January issue of L.V.’s IN LIGHT TIMES MAGAZINE – free).
Some good examples of Eclipse energy from the previous cycle in August:
- It’s revealed that John Edwards (the politician, not the Psychic) has a love child with someone who he ‘knocked up’ while his wife was battling cancer! - -Barack O’bama, A LEO, gets the Democratic nomination and becomes President! Now that’s putting some positive energy behind what you want to accomplish! And change in residence? Upon this Eclipse cycle he is inaugurated and moves into the White House
Also worthy of noting is this ~ If you aren’t in a relationship, an Eclipse cycle can definitely bring one your way!
In addition you could use this time to create a Manifestation Board. Go to Walmart and get a cheap corkboard. Put pictures up of things you would like to have or accomplish ~ that new Harley, a Mediterranean Cruise, your special someone, the beautiful home or new Lexus. Put a mirror on it so you can see yourself in the middle of everything you want to create for 2009! It doesn’t get much more powerful than this! SO … take this energy that is available to you to make huge, positive differences in your life!

New Moons are times of new beginnings, planting seeds and of setting intentions. The annular Solar Eclipse will add extra charge of electricity with this New Moon. This is the best New Moon for breaking old habits and routines. If you feel as if you stuck in a rut with wheels spinning and gaining no traction, the New Moon in Aquarius will help to free you and guide you towards the open road to freedom, liberation and from old attachments from the past. The Aquarian vision is alive and well with the Sun / Moon / Jupiter / Chiron / North Node / and Neptune all in unifying Aquarius (Can’t we all just get along?)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yes, it is definitely time for new beginnings. Yet, with the Mercury Retrograde this month we have to revisit our past in order to build anew. (Please see my article on Mercury Retrograde for more info.)
A lot of this year might seem like we’re going back, one last time, to finally put things to rest. This is so we can start fresh with a clean slate!
2009 adds up to the number 11 ~ a very karmic year with mystical potentials. 11 adds up to the number 2, making this a year of relationships. You’ll see a lot of weddings this year, as in the year 2000.
This year Jupiter ~ the planet of luck, abundance and optimism, enters Aquarius ~ the sign of friendship, humanity, hopes, and wishes. It favors an unconventional approach! So think outside the box this year and reach out to others! One of my favorite sayings:
“If you want something you never had, do something you’ve never done!”
Call me toll free, anywhere in the world, 1-866-395-1340, for a Reading so you can know what special gifts 2009 has in store for you!
Love, luck, peace, and prosperity,
Kerry:)
CAPRICORN
Happy Birthday to the most sensible, cautious, and ambitious sign of the zodiac! You appreciate time is always on your side. Your patient nature will benefit you as you’re embarking on a 15 year cycle of personal transformation. Think of it like a butterfly getting ready to morph from its cocoon.
The spotlight is on you until the 20th when the focus shifts to your personal finances and values which you’ll be reviewing up until that date. There’s a lot going on here! You continue to wrestle with your spending habits and may have learned some hard lessons. Revert back to your frugal nature but feel free to invest in anything creative, artistic, spiritual, water, oil, gas, or entertainment related. Destiny favors your money over your partners or shared resources. Your joint financial sector needs careful scrutiny.
Positively, expect more income this year and a much brighter financial picture. You can benefit through legal, spiritual, travel, publishing, or education endeavors although things may seem to move slowly. Long distance travel is not favored unless it’s for work.
Communication, transportation, family, and community affairs flow smoothly, and are in harmony with your personality this month. Your energy is high and those close to you might feel sparks shooting out from you! You could be in store for some pleasant surprises ~ continue to expect the unexpected here as this area remains unpredictable.
Your mind is expanding in all sorts of new and different directions. You’re in a period of extreme enlightment and may run into opposition from those who live afar, especially in-laws. As you expand from your own conservative conscience, those who are more traditional may question your independent thought and new age ideas. It’s time to reassess those ties.
The intense, powerful, and deep changes you’re experiencing will have a profound effect on all your relationships. You desire a very nurturing, domestic partner to counter balance your ambitious nature. Reward their loyalty by being open and honest about all you’re going through. The same goes for your children and pets.
For singles, January is very positive for meeting someone in the neighborhood, at a social gathering, or online.
Use your energy wisely this month to get your year off to a running start!

The exception can be someone who is born with Mercury retrograde ~ it does not affect them as much.So what can possibly be positive?
Drive extra cautiously. Take time to REview. Think before you take action as your mind (Mercury) could be playing tricks on you! Stay as focused as possible and don’t let it run your life. Did Mercury retrograde bother you BEFORE you knew about it? We must deal with the past before we head into the future!

Merry Christmas ~ My Dec. Newsletter
I wanted to let you know I’m taking appointments for Readings this week, Monday-Saturday, ~ 1-866-395-1340. Next Sunday, I’ll be leaving for Florida for 1 week and resuming Readings on Monday the 29th. I also have gift certificates available!
Now we all know that Christmas is really a holy holiday. Although not everyone observes the birth of Jesus Christ, other religions seem to celebrate their spiritual festivities around the same time, making this a season of family, friends, and charity. If you’re feeling stressed out and obligated you know you’re missing the true spirit of this time.
Interestingly, Christmas Day falls in the sign of somber reflection, Capricorn, while the holiday Season falls in the sign of Sagittarius ~ Party, party, party!!! Yes, we are meant to have a good time and share it with those we care about. Part of that spirit is gift giving. Let’s rejoice in giving and receiving. And with that in mind, let’s keep it REAL!
Is it egotistical to register at your favorite store? NO! Absolutely NOT. It actually makes perfect sense ~ One stop shopping! People know what to get for you and where to get it. If the registry works like it’s supposed to, you should get most of what you want, and not receive the same gift twice. This works especially well for the men in your life who can just go on-line, look up your registry, order stuff and have it delivered. For the same reason, it’s also a God send long distance loved ones. They never have to leave the house and can avoid the long line at the Post Office. For those who have limited time to shop, they know where to get a gift certificate for you. It’s a win-win all the way around!
Which brings me to my next question ~ Are gift certificates a cold and impersonal gift? Again, absolutely NOT! Everything’s a little less personal now in the age of technology, and quite frankly people just don’t have the time they used to. A gift certificate allows the recipient to shop for something they might not afford otherwise. Also, the giver knows their hard earned $$$ went to something the receiver will absolutely use and not wind up a future garage sale item. Again, this works well for men who like to shop last minute. They can just go to their local Super market and purchase gift cert.s for most major stores. They can have their entire shopping done in 15 minutes without worrying if they bought the right color, size etc. And it does not require any wrapping. Another win-win!
Now for those who have the free time but not the money, how about a homemade gift? I know this conjures up images of the lovely outfits Mom and Grandma used to knit and sew for you. Or perhaps you’re picturing the Volvo driving soccer mom acing her way through the arts and crafts store. Not so Martha Stewart? How about:
